Suitable Glass for Greenhouses

Annealed glass is the name of the common-or-garden glass we’re all familiar with. It’s cheap, but not as strong as other options such as toughened glass. It can sometimes crack when subjected to sudden changes in temperature, as well as on impact from a low-flying ball, for instance. When it shatters, it breaks into large shards with jagged edges, so it’s not as suitable for areas where kids might be playing. However, if your greenhouse isn’t subjected to strong winds or heavy snowfalls, it makes a great, affordable option for glass walls.

Sizes can be cut down to suit 4mm Annealed & Toughened Glass can also be cut to any size.
